We spotted this wonderful Wide Awake broadside on eBay but, unfortunately, it was a reproduction, and advertised as such. Measuring 24″ x 36″, it was a well-executed copy printed on rice paper. We asked the vendor if he knew who owned the original, but he didn’t know anything except that the man who had it made owned a sizable Lincoln collection. His name was Dale E. Starr and he printed a limited edition run of 100 back in 1986. The opening bid was $99.
